As part of our response to market needs and long-term service-delivery strategy, Diakonia Training Institute is seeking a skilled and practical trainer to deliver competency-based training in mobile phone repair and general electronics.

Terms: 1 year contract, with the first three months on probation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, hands-on training in mobile phone repair and general electronics
• Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work aligned to the approved curriculum
• Assess learners and maintain accurate assessment records
• Prepare learners for NITA trade tests
• Ensure workshop safety, equipment care and proper e-waste handling
• Keep training content current with evolving electronic technologies and regulatory adherence

Essential Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Licensed TVET trainer
• At least 2 years of relevant training experience
• Knowledge of NITA trade testing, as well as competency-based (CBET) curricula
• Practical skills in phone and general electronics diagnosis, repair and maintenance
