Expanding Educational Horizons with a Diverse, Market-Driven Course Offerings

In a strategic move aimed at broadening its educational horizons and catering to a more diverse student base, Shalom IT Center has undergone a transformative rebranding, emerging as the Diakonia Training Institute. This rebranding initiative represents a significant step forward, aligning with the institute’s mission to provide a comprehensive range of high-quality courses to meet the ever-evolving demands of the modern job market.

A New Chapter: Introducing Diakonia Training Institute

The transition from Shalom IT Center to Diakonia Training Institute signifies a pivotal moment in the institute’s history. Ever since it’s inception in 2003, we’ve catered for the academic and professional needs of students in the area of ICT. Diakonia, derived from the Greek word meaning “service” or “ministry,” reflects the institute’s commitment to providing holistic education that serves both individuals and communities.

The decision to rebrand was fueled by a desire to expand the institute’s offerings beyond IT-focused courses, diversifying into a broader spectrum of disciplines. Diakonia Training Institute is now set to offer a wide range of courses across various domains, ensuring students have ample choices to tailor their educational journey to their career aspirations.

Moreover, the institute is focusing on building a community of learners by fostering networking opportunities, industry partnerships, and mentorship programs. This ensures that students not only acquire knowledge but also gain practical insights and exposure to their chosen fields.
